From Nagahama, one of Japan's newest and smallest distilleries, this lightly peated release comes asa pleasant surprise. As the distillery only became operational last year, this is a new make expression, coming in at 59% ABV. Sharp and intense, with a delightful taste of smoke, this is one of the first releases from a distillery that stands within the new wave of small, passionate whisky distilleries opening across Japan.
