A limited-edition, peated single malt Japanese whisky from the Mars Tsunuki Distillery in Kagoshima, bottled in 2020. It’s the second-ever release from this young distillery, featuring peated malt and matured in bourbon casks.

Tasting Notes

On the Nose

Light yet distinct peat smoke with honey sweetness, barley, orchard fruits like apple, pear, and quince.

On the Palate

Peaty and smoky with complex layers; smoked maple syrup, dried apricot, sandalwood, subtle saltiness, honey and vanilla.

The Finish

Drying, medium-long. Flavours of browned butter, menthol hints and soft sweetness.
