Karuizawa is something of a legend among fans of Japanese whisky, with bottles from the now defunct distillery fetching a fortune at the secondary market. This bottle is from a single cask, bottled with Samurai depicted on the label. It was left to mature in Sherry Butt Cask #3656 for 30 years and was then finally bottled in 2014, with 260 bottles being released. The accompanying box is beautiful, with the Japanese character for Samurai pictured on it. This is a must have for the Karuizawa collector!
