This delightful new whisky from the Kanosuke distillery in Kagoshima was aged for 8 months in American white-oak casks that had previously housed Shochu. It brings an incredible array of vibrant flavours for such a young whisky, including berries, salted dates, poached pears, honey and some subtle spices. This is a really beautiful whisky that every fan of Japanese whisky should try.
