This 2021 release is a blend of whiskies from two of Japan's very best distilleries - Mars Komagatake and Chichibu. It was created out of an experimental partnership between the two and the results are simply to die for. It brings elegant floral tones on the nose that are backed up by freshly cut grass, gentle vanilla and a hint of sea salt. Then the palate arrives with toasted oak, citrus fruits and gentle spices, before the finish holds until your next sip. An exquisite creation that makes us long for more of these distillery partnerships.
