Tokyo International Bar Show and Whisky Expo was an event held from 13th May to 14th May 2017 at the Prism Hall in Tokyo, Japan. This event brings together different bars and brands to showcase their cocktails, whisky etc. This particular whisky from the Ichiro's range was specially released for the seventh show. A rich, shining amber cast in the slightest hint of red. Smooth nose of a sweet, old-fashioned candy, followed by spicy cinnamon on the palate, delivering a pleasing tannin finale. The bottle started out in a bourbon cask, then in a wine cask, lending winey characteristics for a strong finish. This bottle leaves an impression with its soft sweetness and thick mouthfeel, to be enjoyed to the very last vapors of your glass.
