As one of the earliest casks laid down at Chichibu, the Dream Cask 2008 is a window into the distillery’s formative years. Produced only two years after its founding, it captures the youthful vibrancy and promise that would go on to define Chichibu’s global reputation. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2016. Only 194 bottles were ever released; rare, collectible, and beautifully layered, this bottling shows the roots of Ichiro Akuto’s vision.

Tasting Notes

On the Nose:

Honeyed barley, light oak, and toasted grain.

On the Palate:

Soft fruit, sweet malt, and a touch of warming spice.
