Chichibu distillery is a small distillery with only nine full-time employees. The distilleryis owned by Venture whisky, which was founded in 2004 in Chichibu city, Saitama, just outside of Tokyo (hence its name). This particular offering form Ichiro’s Range was exclusively released for Wilkie Festival in 2015. Distilled in 2011 and aged in Cask #3292 until being bottled in 2015. Only limited numbers of bottles were ever released, at 57.6% ABV. As witheverything else from the Chichibu distillery, it comes highly recommended.
