This small batch release from Ichiro's Malt was distilled from, you guessed it, floor malted barley at the Chichibu distillery in 2009 and matured for 3 years before bottling in 2012. Chichibu have always been advocates of transparency and honesty with their releases, as well as being pioneers with their methods and the quality of the whisky they produce. This limited edition bottling is yet another example of that. It's pure, it's honest, it's delicious, and with only 8,800 bottles produced, it's worth getting your hands on while you can.
