Chichibu distillery is a small distillery with only nine full-time employees, it is owned by Venture whisky which was founded in 2004 in Chichibu city, Saitama just outside of Tokyo, hence its name. This particular bottle from Chichibu is the Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu 2012- 2018 Cask #2593. It is a Sweden exclusive bottling that was first available to Swedish citizen only. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2018 with only 268 bottles ever released.
