Karuizawa is the gold standard of rare Japanese whisky. Although the distillery closed its doors in 2011, it had not produced whisky for over a decade. This Karuizawa release was specially bottled by Sanraku Ocean and for the Hanshin Tigers baseball team. It is their commemorative bottle for winning the central league in 2003. This is a very rare commodity, which is, like all other Karuizawa bottles, bound to become more valuable as time passes.
