The Nagahama Distillery have released some superb whiskies to date, including their much-loved world blended whisky series sold under the Amahagan brand name. This is the newest expression in that line of bottlings and it was created by carefully blending whisky from a number of countries before maturing it in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Butt that has imparted an incredible array of rich and fruity notes onto the smooth and elegant spirit. The distillery are becoming masters of making these expressions and this is another must-try.
