Yamazaki 12 Years Old Ceramic Bottle – Yellow Seto Tora Bosai
Out of stock
A stunning display of the Yamazaki 12 Years Old whisky from Suntory! This rare bottle holds one of Suntory’s most popular whiskies. Though the tiger is a symbol of power and ferocity in Japan, the Yamazaki whisky itself has a fruity flavor profile with hints of spices like cinnamon and ginger. Receiving multiple international awards such as the International Spirits Challenge Gold Award and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this exquisite Yamazaki is a winner in our book and will be one in your collection!
Yamazaki 12 Years Old is presented in a unique barrel-shaped ceramic bottle featuring a fierce tiger on the front. The name of the bottle is “Yellow Seto Tora Bosai,” and the “seto” part of the name describes a specific type of Japanese ceramic pottery. The alternative bottle name is “Yellow Seto Tora Bakari Bottle.”
Suntory is a giant in the whisky producing field. It has produced innumerable award winning whiskies for both the domestic and export markets. Of these, both the single malts of Yamazaki and Hakushu often make the headlines but the distillery group also produces the sensational (and multiple award winning) Hibiki blended whisky, (aged at 12yo, 17yo, 21 yo and 30 yo) using spirit from the aforementioned distilleries as well as grain whisky from their Chita production plant. The 12yo Hibiki is noted for its fragrant, fruity aroma, which it partly obtains from additional maturation using Ume Plum Wine casks.
