Karuizawa needs no introduction – Bottles from the silent distillery fetch a fortune on the secondary market and prices only continue to go up.
This particlular bottle was distilled in 1966 and aged for 21 years in a sherry cask. Only 521 bottles were ever released. This bottle is truly a museum piece among Japanese whiskies.
