Nikka was the life’s work of Masataka Taketsuru, the “Father of Japanese Whisky”. This particular Nikka Black Deep Blend whisky used malt aged in new oak barrels and was matured in Café grain malts. *This particular bottling was produced prior to the introduction of Japanese whisky labeling standards in February 2021.*
