The Whisky Of Legends

Known as the legendary distillery, Karuizawa shut down back in 2000, when demand for whisky was plummeting in Japan. No one knew then of the huge Japanese whisky boom on the horizon. Karuizawa whisky has been in highest demand during this boom, with its single cask bottlings selling for some of the largest price tags the global whisky world has ever seen. Karuizawa is synonymous with quality, luxury, and rarity. As the most prized bottles in any collection, who would want to miss out on this one?

Inspired Design

Sleek, modern, and bound by a sense of place, each of the six bottles features one of Japan’s most loved cities. The flavour of the whisky is stellar, so the design had to match it.

The never-sleeping Tokyo.

The cold, snowy land of Sapporo in Hokkaido.

Through Osaka’s edgy streets, up to Kobe’s stylish, fashion-forward districts.

Tranquil Yokohama, and vibrant Nagoya.

Choose a favourite city on your ballet entry, or choose them all. The liquid is constant, the city is a choice only you can make.

Palate
The spice follows on the palate, now joined by dark chocolate, umami, and succulent forest fruit. Prunes, dates, and plums intensity nearing the finish.
